The Meizu, also known as the "Mini One" or the "Chinese IPhone" is an upcoming mobile
phone produced by the Chinese MP3 player manufacturer, Meizu Electronic Technology.
Meizu's CEO, J. Wong, created the touch screen cell phone four days before MacWorld (Apple Electronics)
launched the IPhone. However, the design
was still undergoing changes. According to the Meizu Company this phone was created first.
The new electronic device has more features than the IPhone. It supposedly has better viewing space than its Apple
competitor. It is smaller, thinner, and even more powerful
than the IPhone. It can record and compress a video at 30 frames per second. Unlike the IPhone it is powered by Windows and is expected to be sold at a cheaper price.
This well-anticipated phone has already been featured in many popular technology websites. As of now, the Meizu
Mini One phone has attracted lots of attention online. Mini One mobile phones are currently still under development
and are expected to be released on January 17, 2008.
Some of the extended features, design, and exact cost have yet to be finalized. The official price will not be announced
until sometime in December 2007. However, the estimated price ranges from $100-$150, depending on size.
According to Applematters.com, this phone will give you more options at a cheaper cost, and your amount of options allows you to adjust the cost accordingly.
