A cross between "Big Daddy" and "Superbad" meets "Dungeons and Dragons" stars "Danny" (Paul Rudd) and "Wheeler" (Seann William Scott who we all have come to love as Stiffler) are two workers who promote energy drinks at public schools that oddly enough are toxic and make urine turn green.
After Danny has a breakdown in which he lands the company truck on top of a horse statue, the two are facing jail time or 150 hours of community service. Choosing the community service option places them at Sturdy Wings, a big brother/sister type program founded by "Gayle" (Jane lynch) an ex-crack addict.
Wheeler is assigned to an explicit foul-mouthed kid who is obsessed with "boobies," named "Ronnie Shields" (Bobb'e J. Thompson) whose role is reminiscent of his previous character on "That's So Raven." Meanwhile, Danny is stuck with a teenager, "Augie Farks" (Christopher Mintz-Plasse from "Superbad"), who constantly wears a cape for "LARPing," otherwise known as live-action role-playing. Plasse is 'Mc-Lovin' revamped into a bigger plastic sword fighting nerd who is the "wannabe savior" of his country's kingdom.
After spending time with their two buddies, jail seems like the better option. Trying to shed their selfish ways and reach out to the outcast kids makes these characters destined to be involved in activities outside of their comfort zone.
Prepare for constant laughter while watching this comedy that will instantly become a classic knee-slapper. Directed by David Wain, the climax at the end is the final battle scene that combines role-play and an obsession with the group KISS. This movie has been R-rated for crude and sexual content, strong language and nudity.
