The Panthers put on a good run in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association (SIAC) finishing 15-14, four games above last season.
The Panthers defeated the Morehouse Maroon Tigers for the fifth-straight time in a 50-49 victory in the first round of the SIAC tournament. The Panthers advanced to the quarter finals where they fell in over time 69-67 to power house Lane College.
Sophomore guard, Najee Lane led his team in scoring along with forward, Garry Beverly and guard, Kevin Johnson. The Panthers will lose 50% of its roster to graduation, but looks to welcome players to feel in those shoes.
Returning guards Lane, Jalani Heath and Julius Sudds will help lead the back court. "Our team lost alot of good players, but we look forward to rebuilding for a successful season next school year," said Sudds, who average well over four rebounds per contest for the season.
