10 Tips for Surviving 2010
1) Stay out of Trouble
There's nothing cute about a person who is always in trouble and who knows better.
2) Aim for greater heights
And so you've achieved? Achieve more and more until you can't anymore.
3) Stay focused on your job
We all came here for a specific purpose. Never lose sight of that.
4) Exercise to maintain good health
Although not even one-fifth of the country's population, African Americans lead all categories of obesity-related complications,
according to the Centers for Disease Control.
5 )Practice team work
Our community has gotten used to this "I'ma get me" or crab in a barrel mentality, but there is nothing wrong with giving or receiving a
helping hand.
6) Rely on your trusted partner to watch your back. Take your time trusting others.
It's so unfortunate but so true in the world in which we live.
7) Save for rainy days
Finances should be taken more seriously in our community. The majority of us should not have bad credit.
8) Rest and Relax
What's living without being able to indulge in all the pleasures of life?
9) Always take time to smile
Mark Twain once stated, "The human race has only one really effective weapon and that is laughter."
10) Realize that nothing is impossible
Know that YOU determine who you will become. Speak things into existence over your life.
