Congratulations to the CAU Marching Band for their sixth invite to Honda's Battle of the Bands celebration. Battle of the Bands was Jan. 30 at the Georgia Dome.

Seniors Demi Motley (PR) and Edmund Evans (Business Management) were invited to participate in a blue ribbon panel discussing the difficulties college students will face upon graduation. Also, senior Ashley Flenoury (Journalism) who interns with the network produced the show. The show aired on Peachtree TV's community affairs show, JJ on Atlanta January 31.

Congratulations to the men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the women of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for winning first place in Sprite's Step Off competition in Baton Rouge earlier this month. Both organizations will be competing for the ultimate prize from a pool of $1.5 million during the national round. The competition will take place February 20 at the Georgia Dome.

The Panther would like to give a special congratulation to Monique Patton who received a full scholarship to Michigan State Law School.
